Audio Sequencing Skills The song that I have decided to choose is Finesse by Bruno Mars. I chose this song because it had many instruments that I could be able to record for my assignment. The instruments that I will be using to record will be piano, bass guitar and drums. Recording Audio Files I first started by recording the drums. I used two Shure SM57 overhead microphones for the snare and the high hat and an AKG D112 for my bass drum. To record the piano I used 2 overhead Shure SM57 on both ends of the piano on order to get a clear sharp sound. I used the same microphone to record the bass guitar. During the recording sessions I had the microphones connected to the interface sound that the sound went straight to Logic Pro. Cut, Copy & Paste Once all the tracks were on Logic and i started editing them, there were some tracks that had audio which i didn't need.
